£120 a year plus VAT, and it's flat: the same price whether you run 50 ewes or 2,000. No per-head calculator, no tiers, and it never goes up at renewal. One price, for every farmer, for good.

How you pay

You subscribe inside the app, through the Apple App Store or Google Play. There's nothing to buy on this website and no account to create here. Download the app, and when you're ready to subscribe, the store handles payment the same way it does for any other app. You manage or cancel the subscription from your normal App Store / Google Play subscription settings, in one tap, any time.

Free before you pay anything

• Medicine lookup is free, forever, no account needed. Download the app and look up any UK animal medicine, with its dose, route and withdrawal periods, without signing up or paying a penny.
• New subscribers get a 2-month free trial. Why two months, not the usual one? Plenty of meat withdrawals run 35 to 56 days. A one-month trial isn't long enough to record a treatment and watch a withdrawal run all the way to "clear for slaughter." Two months is, so you can judge it on a real treatment cycle rather than a demo.

One price, and it stays put

£120 a year plus VAT, flat, for everyone. We won't hook you with a cheap first year and then jack the price up once you're relying on it. The price is the price, this year and every year you stay.

It undercuts the other farm apps on purpose. The app costs us next to nothing to run, so we'd rather keep it cheap and earn your renewal than squeeze you. Prices exclude VAT, so a VAT-registered farm reclaims it in the normal way.

If you stop paying

Your records stay yours. Always. If your subscription lapses, Drover goes read-only. You can still open the app, see every record you ever entered, and export the lot (PDF for the auditor, JSON for raw data). You're never locked out of your own history, and we never hold your records to ransom over a renewal. They live on your phone, not on our servers, so we couldn't take them away if we wanted to.

No surprise charges

Plenty of farmers have been burned by farm apps that hiked prices overnight or quietly auto-billed a card they'd forgotten about. So, plainly:

• We remind you before every renewal. The app warns you ahead of the charge, on top of whatever notice the App Store or Google Play sends. No silent billing.
• Cancelling is one tap in your store subscription settings. No emails to send, no retention phone call, no dark patterns.
• The price is the price. £120 a year plus VAT, flat, whatever the size of your flock or herd.
